Up-Sales
Overview:
The Up-Sales section of BodyShop Booster gives you an easy and efficient way to offer your customer additional services at the most opportune time - when they are in a buying mood. Through our Boost My Estimate tool, you can offer customers menu driven OR custom up-sales immediately after they have accepted your estimate.
Why Up-Sales:
Fender Bender published an Axalta study that showed 65+% of customers are open to considering additional services. In today’s world of lengthy backlogs and crammed lots, the best way to increase your bottom line isn’t more vehicles, it’s adding up-sales to your existing repair orders.
How to add Up-Sales to your menu:
Within the Boost My Estimate options, you will notice “Up Sales” as the fourth of the five options. Click on Up Sales to open the up-sales menu, then click on "Add Up Sale".
When adding an Up Sale there are seven steps:
1. Give the up sale a name.
2. Give a description, this will be presented to the customer when they view the details.
3. List price, this is the price the service would cost for someone coming in without a pre-existing repair order.
4. Special price, this is the price offered to the customer since they have a pre-existing repair order.
5. Click this if you want this up sale to be offered to all customers by default.
6. Upload a photo or short video of this up sale service.
7. Save your settings.
Custom Up Sales:
You can send a one-time up sale opportunity to a customer without adding it to your menu list of up-sale opportunities. To do this, simply click on the "Custom Upsales" option and complete the same steps as above.
How to add Up-Sales to your Boost My Estimate:
When sending an estimate to a customer utilizing Boost My Estimate, you can offer customers: default, menu based or even custom up sales. Simply click on the Up Sales section of Boost My Estimate and check/uncheck as necessary. Options with a check mark will be offered to the customer.
How to manage Default Up-Sales so they go out with each Boost My Estimate:
When creating new up sale opportunities, you can select if they are a default up sale or not (by checking the box - see step 5 above). You can manage defaults by clicking on the "Defaults" tab, and then the edit icon for "Upsales." From there you can edit each and either select/deselect the default check box.
