Setting Up Templates

Save yourself time by setting up templates for any of your recurring outgoing messages.  Templates save you and your shop time, allow you to send consistent messaging across all users and may help prevent mistakes by having all the information at your fingertips.  BodyShop Booster understands how important these are to your shop, so we have a dedicated area within your dashboard settings to manage and view these templates.

Templates can be configured to specific shops or across multiple shops.  They can also be configured for specific users.  If you find yourself typing out the same message over and over, just add that message as a template and save yourself some time.  They can be used across several areas within BodyShop Booster when sending messages through email, texting, ringless voicemails, and when asking for feedback and reviews.

To access the template library, click on the templates icon on the left side menu.

The tabs across the top of the template library allow you to see templates for those types of messages.  BodyShop Booster has several default templates that many shops find helpful.  Some are shown below on the left side in blue.   

1. Email and Text Templates - There are pre-made templates within each of the different communication tabs which can be customized.  You can also add your own by clicking on the “+ Add New.”  Furthermore, you can click the, “Insert Autofill Fields,” and include information that is in the customer profile (like name, vehicle, etc) or shop information (like name of shop location, telephone number, or a specific shop user’s name).

2. Ringless Voicemail - This is a voicemail message that can be put directly on a customer's phone without ringing.  You can create a ringless voicemail template by clicking the “+ Add New” button.  These ringless voicemail templates can be attached to statuses and automatically sent out to customers.  Like any template, you can give it a name and record it directly from your computer, from an external microphone or import it from a computer in the form of a .wav file.

3. Feedback/Reviews - You can create different templates for sending customers a request for a review.  We have 2 pre-set templates for you in the system, but you can also create your own.

The review templates allow you to:

  • Send clients a link to easily leave a Google, Yelp, Facebook, or customized third-party website review.
  • Customize the message you want to send your clients.
  • Set up pre-qualifying survey questions before the Review so that you can see how a customer will rate you on a public site.
  • Pre-qualify your customer's reviews by only sending them to public sites if they meet the required number of stars that you set.

You can send them individually to customers via the communication channel or attach them to be automatically sent out to your clients when you put them in a specific status. 

Once templates are set up they can also be assigned to different statuses within the "Actions," which can be used in Post Marketing Repair Campaigns.
