Reviewing Photos
Viewing photos sent from your customer via the Photo Estimate Tool is easy. You can view them in BodyShop Booster or you can download them individually or as a group. Within BodyShop Booster you can use different filters to view the photos in order to see damage in the best light.
To find these photos, open the customer's profile. At the bottom, to the right of the "Drag and Drop," you can see all the available photos. These are photos that the customer has taken or documents you may have uploaded for that customer.
To view and/or edit a photo--click on the photo.
The selected picture will open allowing you to see a larger view. As you can see below, the tools for manipulating the photo are on the top left. From left to right you get the ability to: rotate photos, use an x - ray filter, remove color, change the color spectrum, add polarization, revert to original and a save button. To the right we have a few different options including: zoom, enlarge, download and exit.
Left-side toolbar:
Rotate Photos: This allows you to rotate photos 360 degrees on a 90-degree axis. You can change and manipulate the angle to 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees.
X-Ray Filter: allows you to add an X-Ray filter on any picture and gives a better breakdown of the damage on the car.
Remove Color: This will make the image black and white.
Color Spectrum: This will allow you to change the color spectrum. Sometimes, by changing the color spectrum, subtle differences will be highlighted, showing the damage that wasn't visible in the normal colors.
Polarization: A polarizing filter is placed in front of the photo in order to darken images, manage reflections, or suppress glare from the surface.
Revert to original: This will allow you to change your image back to the original photo from any changes that you have made.
Save: This button will save any changes made to the original photo and keep them in the BSB customer profile.
Right-side toolbar:
Zoom In & Zoom Out: This allows you to zoom in and out on a specific picture.
Full Screen: This allows you to make a picture full screen giving you more on-screen real estate to look at a specific image
Download: Allows you to download a specific picture after changes were made to this picture.
Exit: The X in the most right-hand corner of the screen allows you to exit the screen and go back to the dashboard.
To download all the photos at once, in the customer's profile click on the download icon above the photos. It will give you the option to download it into a zip file.
