Importing Customers

You can now add multiple customers to your dashboard by importing a list.

Importing Customers is a great way to bring in a group of customers in bulk.  BodyShop Booster will allow you to import this group of customers to your Active dashboard as  "Leads" or directly into "Archived".  You can choose the status for these customers to be assigned.  This process is a great way to bring in existing customers who are not already in your back office and use the post-marketing repair status to market to them. 

Step 1:  Click on the +New button in the Menu and then take your mouse over to the little plus sign on the left-hand side of the screen then click the top tab titled, "Upload Customer List," in order to access the import list.

Step 2: Click the "Download Template" button which will allow you to access a Microsoft Excel Template that must be filled out with the customer's information.  This information must be filled out as plainly as possible.  Any numbers should be written as plainly as possible to avoid any issues with uploading. There are several fields of information you can upload, but you are only required to add First Name, Last Name, Cell Number, and Email Address.  If you do not have either of these you can simply put in dummy information.  A common dummy email address used is unknown@unkown.com.

Step 3: Once completed, click the "Attach CSV File to Import (Click or Drag & Drop)" in order to bring in the Template with all of the information about your clients.  The system will verify the information.  If there are issues the upload will not work.  Once there are no issues noted by the system you can continue.

Step 4: Choose the box to indicate where on your dashboard (Lead or Archived) you want the customers to be uploaded to and the specific status to be assigned to these client profiles.  You can upload the customers to "Leads" or "Archived" and select the status you wish to put these customer profiles in once they enter your system. 

Step 5: Click "Create New Customers" to complete the upload.
