Sending Photo Estimating Tool

Sending Photo Estimate Tool:

The Photo Estimate Tool can be shared directly from your back office in a few different ways.  You can click the camera on the left side toolbar or you can click the camera on the top toolbar.

The Photo Estimate Tool will open a new window.  Fill in as much of your customer’s information as you can.  The more information you fill in before you send the Photo Estimate Tool, the less information they have to fill out.  Select the Version by clicking the down arrow shown in the example.  If they have a Claim Number from their insurance you can enter it under Claim /  Tracking #.

Retail App Version: This version of the Photo Tool is the most popular because it requires the least amount of information from your customer.  It only focuses on the damage to their vehicle.  It will ask them where the damage is, for a photo of the damage straight on and another one at an angle.  They will be able to take a video, and any other additional photos they deem necessary.

Insurance App Version: The Insurance version goes a step beyond the Retail Version.  It asks for all the same info as the Retail Version, but then it also asks for all the additional photos needed for the insurance company.

Dealer App Version: The Dealer App is meant to be sent to your local dealer or service drive.  The first time it is opened it will ask for who that Dealer version is from.  They should save it to their home screen on their device of choice.  To learn how click here.  After that first time, it will remember who they are.  When they have a vehicle with damage, they can bring out their Phone or Tablet, open the saved app, and take pictures.  The pictures will be the VIN, the damage, and the customer’s name and contact information.

Let’s select the Retail Version since it is the most popular.  You enter the cell phone number, or toggle over to email and enter an email address. Then click Send Now.

You will see Success!  Showing it has been successfully sent.

At the top of your dashboard, you will then have that lead sitting in Pending Photos status.

Your customers have the option to complete the Photo tool from their phones or on their desktops.  This is how the Photo Tool looks to the customer in Desktop view.

They have the option to send the Photo tool to their cell phone, scan a QR code on their cell phone or complete the process in their desktop browser.

Here is a quick video of the complete process:
