Sub Status messages (automated messages for selected insurance carriers)

This new feature allows you to create unique workflows and action items based on specific insurance carriers.

An example of this would be: when making initial contact with Direct Assignments.  In many cases offering your assigned customers the option to schedule on your Estimate Calendar is a great option.  However, in some cases, insurance carriers pre-schedule the estimate appointment for the client.  In this case, you could filter out these assignments and send the client a different message - confirming their appointment and asking for photos to start initial triage before they even get to the shop.

In order to use the Sub Automation function you will need to first give the system access.

From your Menu

  1. Settings
  2. Miscellaneous
  3. Toggle ON under, "use LBA for assignments with specific insurers"
  4. Save settings.

Once you have turned ON this function you will then see the option to use the Sub LBA for each Status automation.

In order to turn on the specific automated messages for these statuses, follow these steps:

From your Menu

  1. Settings
  2. Status
  3. Choose your specific status
  4. You can now create a separate action (email, text, RV) for the specific insurer automation.

To create a new automation for these SUB Statuses:

  1. Click on Add action (#4 from the above picture)
  2. Check off the box to "Use this action on the selected insurance carrier" and add a title.

  3. Choose the selected insurance carrier from the drop-down box and then create the message as normal.

Once you complete the action flow for this message, click save and the message will now show up (in bold) in the action list.

Going forward, when a customer is added into the system with that insurance carrier and put into a Status with this setup, these insurance carrier-specific messages will be sent instead of the usual messages for this status.
