Staff Notifications

Don't miss any incoming messages from your customers and don't let anything fall through the cracks.  BodyShop Booster has a huge variety of notifications that are available to all users.  

There are 4 ways to receive notifications & alerts about your clients.

  1. Alert Bell Icon
  2. Automated staff notification by email or text message
  3. Flashing Red Dot on the dashboard and client profile
  4. Lightning Bolt actions (LBAs)

We will go into each of the above options and explain how to utilize these properly.

1. Alert Bell Icon

There are 5 categories within the Alert Icon.  

  1. Requesting an Estimate - a client in the dashboard is requesting an estimate.
  2. New text message in your dashboard - a client in the dashboard has sent a text message.
  3. New email message in your dashboard - a client in the dashboard has sent an email.
  4. Requesting Repair Appointment - a client in the dashboard is requesting a repair appointment.
  5. Activity Alert - a client has taken action on their estimate.

Alert Bell Icon

When there is an alert available it will be listed by the client name under each category.  You can click on the client name and you will be directed to the client profile to view the alerts.

You can also delete these alerts by clicking on the red trash can to the right of the client's name.

You can also filter by which alert you want to see.  Simply click on the drop-down menu from the filter button and choose the appropriate filter.

2. Automated Staff Notifications by email or text message.

When setting up Users you can determine which notifications you want to receive by email or text.  There are 3 sections from which we can send staff notifications.

  1. System Notifications - Please note: These system notifications are triggered by the STAFF assignment on your client profiles.  If you want only specific staff to receive alerts they must have this checked on.  If you assign staff to a client profile, they will be the only person who receives these system notifications.  If the ALL STAFF is assigned then the alerts will go out to all staff who have notifications checked on.
  2. Sell My Estimate (BME) - staff alerts related to the customer's actions on the estimate sent.
  3. Lightning Bolts - staff alerts are set up within the Status' Lightning Bolt messages.

Simply check the boxes you wish to receive email and/or text messages for these alerts.

3. Lightning bolts (LBAs)

When setting up lightning bolts you can send your staff email/text notifications when certain actions have taken place.

4. Flashing Red Dot

The blinking red light notifies you that there has been an alert for a customer.  You will typically see this within the status of the client's profile and sometimes at the top left of the screen.  Click HERE for complete instructions for the red light function and how to remove it.
